GOMExplorer includes a wealth of information updated each business day by the Rigzone
Research Team. GOMExplorer includes data provided by the MMS (Minerals Management
Service) as well as exclusive data maintained by the Rigzone Team.
GOMExplorer makes utilizing MMS data quick and easy. The Rigzone Team
obtains data from the MMS, scrubs the data, and loads the data into GOMExplorer
so you can easily create maps and reports of lease, pipeline, platform, permit,
and plan information.
In addition, Rigzone maintains several proprietary databases including oil and gas
field developments, upcoming drilling programs, platform and pipeline installations,
floating production system developments, and mobile rig data that are integrated into GOMExplorer.
